PASTORS COLLEGE 2009

Pastor's College 2009

This Pastor's College was a great blessing.

This is the Temple Baptist Church's location in Powell, TN.

Our time is spent in sessions on the beautiful campus of

The Crown College

This is the

Christian Heritage Center

Inside are many displays that highlight the lives and ministries

of some of God's most faithful servants.  It is a great encouragement to

learn about their life's inpact for the cause of Jesus Christ our LORD.

This is the "Judson" pew.

That makes this pew 197 years old.

One of the world's greatest missionaries sat on it.

Sermon outline written by

Dr. Lee Roberson.

Dr. Roberson pastored Highland Park Baptist Church and founded

Tennessee Temple University.  I met my wife,  Cheryl,  there

in 1978-1979 school year.  Dr. Roberson was my pastor for two years.

This is the organ that P. P. Bliss used.

It  survived the train crash that took

His and his wife's life.

Billy Sunday Revival Campaigns used many

cars like this 1923 Reo.

Above is a portrait to the great ministry of Dr. R.G. Lee who was pastor
of Bellvue Baptist Church in Memphis, TN about 20 minutes south from
Millington, TN.  Below is another great pastor from Bellvue,

Dr. Adrian Rodgers.  I had the privaledge of attending his
Spring Preachers Trainging Institute before he went home
to be with the Lord that fall.
Both are resting in Heaven
with our Lord whom they served so well for many years.

Here we are a bunch of preachers working with "tinker-toys."
This was an object lesson on working together as friends
trying to create an outreach ministry for God.

Our mealtimes were spent around the water fountain

in the center of the Christian Heritage Center.

Here, Pastor Sexton, Mrs. Sexton, and Dr. Ed Reese are preparing for lunch.

Mrs. Sexton and the many ladies of the church

prepared our meals and the deserts that went with them.

What a blessing the people who served were to each of us preachers.

They spoiled us with three great meals that were waiting on us when we got there.

When we returned home, it was back to regular life.
