Adult Auditorium Class
This adult ministry is designed to help strengthen your faith
in Jesus Christ while also strengthening your walk with God.
You will share experiences, learning, and worship that will help
you grow spirtitually and discover God's will for your life.
The class teacher is Bro. Don VonBuskirk SR. (the Pastor's father).
Bro. Von Sr. has been teaching for over 30 years
since his conversion in Viet Nam in 1968.
Ladies "Sunshine" Class
This class offers a variety of opportunities for worship,
Bible study, personal and spiritual growth, recreation,
and fellowship. The ladies hed up our church-wide prayer chain.
Their teacher is Mrs. Minnie VonBuskirk Sr.
(the Pastor's mother). She has been teaching for over
30+ years and has walked with the Lord for all these many years.
Youth - Singles Class
Young people must be taught the clear commandments of
God's Word. The Bible says in II Timothy 2:2, "And the things
that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses,
the same commit thou to faithful men,
who shall be able to teach others also."
The purpose of the local church is to help
equip families with the necessary tools from God's Word
to lay the right foundation for the rest of life. We must work
to help entire families serve the Lord ogether. The essential
for the Christian is to walk with God while serving others.
Our Pastor, Bro. Don VonBuskirk Jr. is the teacher.
Pastor worked with youth for over 5 years before coming
to Anchor Baptist church. He has a burden for young people
since todays youth have been sold the world's phylosophy
in worship; a worship the bible describes as repulsive to God. Godly people are the result of Godly means.
Children's Class
Mrs. Cheryl VonBuskirk (the Pastor's Wife) serves in our
children's class. She loves boys and girls and enjoys telling
them the many precious stories about Christ.
Nursery
The Nursery children are under the directorship of Mrs. Cheryl VonBuskirk. (the Pastor's Wife) The lady who takes care of
them during sunday school is Mrs. Linda Doan. She is loving
and very dedicated to these precious ones.
